Beim Radiosender Power 99 sprach Kanye West über seine kommenden Projekte. Er sagte, dass er bis nächsten Sommer ein neues Soloalbum veröffentlichen will. Außerdem arbeite er konstant mit Jay Z, jedoch seien dabei noch keine Tracks für ein Nachfolge-Projekt von Watch The Throne entstanden.

“We thinking about dropping a Cruel Winter,” so Kanye. “And I’d like to put out more product. I’d like to have another album out by next summer. I’m like going to the studio soon as we leave here. I got this remix that I did with Miley Cyrus. I ain’t jumping on the train. If I like an artist, I do what I [want].“

“We’re constantly working,” fügte er bezüglich Jay Z hinzu. “We haven’t made any songs for it yet. But we gon’ see what’s gonna happen. And I’ll tell you my main focus is to get this product line out and it’s gonna come out next September.”
