Neues Slaughterhouse-Album und Joe Budden-EP für 2014 angekündigt

Neben Eminems Album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 war auch ein neues Slaughterhouse-Release Thema des MTV-Interviews mit Joe Budden.

Nach MMLP2 soll ein neues Album der Gruppe um Joe Budden, Crooked I, Royce Da 5'9" und Joell Ortiz erscheinen:

"We're not [releasing] nothing while Em is coming out. Let him go ahead and sell his 20 million records and then when he's finished, we'll roll out", gab er lachend bekannt.

Das Album sei bereits aufgenommen und soll tiefgründig, introspektiv und sehr persönlich geworden sein:

"I'm really looking forward to the Slaughterhouse project, partly because this album will be very much like earlier Joe Budden albums. Very deep, very introspective and very personal. All of the guys really went in, took it to a different place and just dug much deeper this album, so I really can't wait for the release of this one to see how fans take to it."

Neben dem Gruppenalbum möchte Joe Budden auch eine neue EP namens Some Love Lost veröffentlichen. Die Arbeit an der EP unterscheide sich stark von der Arbeit am Slaughterhouse-Album:

"[Those projects] are apples and oranges. To go from Slaughterhouse where you have to contribute one verse and some thoughts, to having to construct an entire song on your own, it's just two different worlds, but I appreciate them both for what they both are."
