Am 16.04.2013 feiert Ghostface Killah das Release seines Albums Twelve Reasons to Die welches auf Soul Temple Records erscheint. Auf der gleichnamigen Tour wird Ghostface von einer Band namens Venice Dawn begleitet. Weitere Unterstützung gibt es von Komponist Adrian Younge, welcher ebenfalls am Album mitarbeitete und den Soundtrack für den Film Black Dynamite lieferte. Die Geschichte über Gut und Böse handelt von Tony Starks ( Ghostface Killah s Alter Ego) ein Mafiamitglied der 12 Delucas, einer italienischen Familie aus den Sechzigern. Der Film entwickelt sich zu einer Vintage-Horrorstory und ist gespickt mit Gangsterelementen. Interessanterweise war Wu-Tang- Gründer und Produzent RZA derjenige, der Adrian Younge für das Projekt auswählte und in der Enstehungsphase Tipps und Anweisungen gab. Gegenüber allhiphop.com äußerte Younge : I wanted this album to be the album that went back and started things all over,I wanted to be the first person to really bring this to hip-hop. I want to bring that organic element back to hip-hop. I’m fortunate enough that I was chosen to be that person to do it. Viele Tracks beinhalten Streich-, Blasinstrumente und Drums welche auf einem 2-Inch Tape aufgenommen worden sind. Dies verleiht jedem Song eine Tiefe die in heutiger Musik oft fehlt: I want this album to change what people think about hip-hop, so Young .   Twelve Reasons to Die wird in verschiedenen Ausführungen erhältlich sein. So gibt es zum Beispiel eine Deluxe Doppel CD mit Instrumentals und Comic-Buch oder eine Digitale Version, sowie verschiedene Vinylformate und ein Tape.
