Beanie Sigel verkündete vor kurzem, dass er zurzeit an seinem sechsten Studioalbum The Closure arbeitet. Ein offizielles Releasedate gibt es zwar noch nicht, aber die CD soll definitiv noch in diesem Jahr über Universal Republic erscheinen. Laut dem Philadelphia Rapper beinhaltet sein neustes Projekt einige Storyteller-Tracks, in denen er Geschichten aus der Hood erzählt:
"I basically went back to the block with [this album]. I mean, I ain't never leave the block, but I just started hanging more and [got] more in depth with the young boys and put myself in situations where I knew I shouldn't have been at, hanging at those spots where they hang at. And that’s where the music come from; the n*ggas that are on the block still grinding… I'm just painting a lot of stories on this joint."
