2 Chainz hat zusammen mit seiner Wohltätigkeitsorganisation TRU Foundation, Adidas und Def Jam Records die Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung #2CansFor2Chainz organisiert. 

2 Chainz hat über 800 Autogramme signiert und so die Aktion untersützt. Insgesamt kamen rund 4.000 Lebensmittelkonserven zusammen, so der Radiosender HOT 107.5.

Das Event fand in Puffer Reds statt, einem Sneaker Shop in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Gehostet wurde das Ganze von HOT 107.5. Die Dosen wurden den Organisation SOS Food Pantry und Food Gatherers gespendet. 

Der Rapper gab außerdem an, er wolle in Zukunft noch mehr für wohltätige Zwecke tun:

“I have a foundation actually that I just started, TRU Foundation. [...] And I do different things in different neighborhoods for different reasons. I got some events coming up on Thanksgiving as well as Christmas. So, when you get blessed like I have the last year or two, you have to figure out some kind of way to give back.”
