Vans goes Hiphop: Für eine neue Kollektion hat sich das Unternehmen von A Tribe Called Quest inspirieren lassen und präsentiert sechs klassische Vans-Silhouetten mit Designs in Anlehnung an Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Jarobi White und Ali Shaheed Muhammad.
Mit der Kollektion will Vans dem kulturellen Einfluss der Crew, ihrer Musik, ihrem Style, ihrer Originalität und ihrer Kunst, Tribut zollen und hat dafür unter anderem einige ikonische Artworks von A Tribe Called Quest-Alben auf die Schuhe gebracht. Aber auch Lyrics und Meilensteine in der Karriere der Gruppe wurden in Designs umgewandelt.
