G-Unit  Mitglied Spider Loc möchte den Fans die Zeit bis zur Veröffentlichung des kommenden G-Unit Albums mit Mixtapes versüßen. Anscheinend traut Spider den G-Unit Anhängern kein allzu großes Erinnerungvermögen zu, denn jeden Monat soll es ein neues Mixtape geben. Die hohe Quantität soll sich dennoch nicht negativ auf die musikalische Qualität auswirken. "At this point in my career, I just want to keep the same mentality. This s**t don't stop. The mixtape circuit, the internet, it is an outlet just to keep the fans with something fresh and new to keep biting on. Those that haven't heard of it, I'm determined to give them something they can bite on." Dennoch verliert der G-Unit Rapper nicht den Release seines G-Unit Debuts  World Wide Web aus den Augen, schließlich wurde der Termin immer wieder verschoben, obwohl auch Unit-Chef 50 Cent seine Begeisterung für's Album ausgesprochen hat. Allerdings läge solch' eine Entscheidung nie beim Künstler selbst. "It's been done four or five times. It's just the politics all up in the game. You get caught up in the industry, a lot of things start happening that are out of your control. [...] From that point on, I thought that there would a situation created to where we would be actively trying to put the album out. For whatever reasons, that didn't quite manifest. I haven't gotten any direct communication as to why not." Für sein kommendes Mixtape Da 1 U Love 2 Hate hat er sich von West Coast Ikone Ice Cube inspirieren lassen. "That's kind of like what the title was inspired from. I'm a pretty big Ice Cube fan. I'm probably more consistent Ice Cube fan throughout his career than of anyone else." Das Mixtape erscheint am 24. Juni 2008.
