Ice Cube hat sein zehntes Studioalbum Everythang’s Corrupt für 2013 angekündigt. In einem Interview mit Red Bull kündigte er an, dass der Inhalt hart und politisch ausfallen soll:
" It’ll be out next year, you know, its hardcore Hip-Hop. It’s street knowledge, it’s talking about what’s going on in the hood, but it’s talking about what’s going on in the political arena. It’s what I always try to give. Much more than just rhyming. "
Mit Everythang’s Corrupt ging bereits das erste Video zum gleichnamigen Album online. Im Track selbst ist der Rage Against the Machine -Gitarrist Tom Morello zu hören:In einem Interview mit MTV News gab Ice Cube an, es sei kein Zufall, dass das Video im Vorfeld der amerikanischen Präsidentschaftswahlen erschien: " It's really the same feeling you get almost every election cycle. It's a money game and nobody really cares, everybody just want to win. Ain't nobody want to fix the problems. It just seems like it's a whole circus and façade for money and control of a lot of money. " Im Mai 2010 wurde bekannt, dass ein N.W.A. -Film in Planung sei, im August 2012 twitterte Dr. Dre das erste Bild vom Dreh.
