Sie konnte sechs, der begehrten Grammophone mit nach Hause nehmen. Unter anderem in den Kategorien Song of the Year und Best R&B Song . Auch Jay-Z konnte sich über mehrere Awards freuen. Er wurde für seinen Track D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune) und in zwei Kategorien für Run This Town , den gemeinsamen Song mit Rihanna und Kanye West , ausgezeichnet. Letzterer blieb der Veranstaltung übrigens fern. Eminem , der 2009 sein Comeback hatte, bekam das vergoldete Grammophon immerhin in zwei Kategorien. Relapse wurde als bestes Rap Album des Jahres gekührt und der Kollabosong mit Dr. Dre und 50 Cent Crack A Bottle ist laut der National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences die beste Rap Performance eines Duos oder einer Gruppe.
