Game hier, Game da. Die Promophase zu The Documentary 2 und 2.5 läuft hervorragend. Nun äußert sich der Westcoast-MC auch endlich mal wieder zum Thema G-Unit. Eine Reunion scheint nicht zur Debatte zu stehen, aber immerhin ist sich Game sicher, heute nach fast zehn Jahren keinen Beef mehr mit 50 Cent zu haben.

"I haven't seen 50 in like 10 years, and I don't got no beef with him these days. I watch Power sometimes."

Er sei ihm sogar immernoch dankbar für seine Hilfe auf dem Debütalbum The Documentary vor genau einem Jahrzehnt, und finde Fiftys Musik nach wie vor gut. Ein Problem hat Game allerdings mit den Gerüchten, dass sein Album damals von 50 Cent geschrieben worden sei.

"I'm forever grateful even though we had beef or what not. 50 is dope. 50 was dope, is dope, still dope. That's the music. I don't gotta fuck with the man but the music is the music. 50 is dope. Can 50 lyrically fuck with Game? Nope. He can't. I don't like when people say 50 wrote The Documentary. 50 wrote three tracks but The Documentary was wrote by Game." 

Im Gegenteil, Game behauptet, auf Get Rich Or Die Tryin' großen kreativen Einfluss gehabt zu haben:

"I was there lyrically. I was there ideally, I was there. The 'What up Blood? / What up Cuz? / What up Gangsta?', you think 50 came up with that himself? Nah. I’m from LA. We were in there as a collaborative group effort and we did that." 

Sehr interessante Einblicke etwa zehn Jahre nach dem Bruch der beiden Parteien. The Documentary 2 steht jetzt in Läden. Die zweite CD kommt am Ende der Woche.
