Während er an einer neuen adidas Yeezy Season und seinem Album Swish arbeitet, nahm Kanye West sich die Zeit, kurz mit Radiolegende Big Boy zu sprechen.

Dabei gab Kanye eine kurze Rückmeldung darüber, wie weit er in der Produktionsphase seines Albums ist. Offenbar schreitet er langsam voran. Weiterer Grund für die Verzögerung ist wohl die Tatsache, dass viele Tracks schließlich auf fremden Alben landen.

"I don't wanna overly describe it or overly try to hype it up. We're working slow. I've had a while to work on it. Then I separated a couple of the tracks that were on my album – getting the other people like FourFiveSeconds the Rihanna one, the joint on The Weeknd's album, Tell Your Friends."

Um das Album zu beschreiben, kombinierte Yeezy die zwei Worte "hörbar" und "Gemälde". Bekanntermaßen ist Kanye Synästhetiker, der Töne auch als Farben wahrnimmt.

"I still just kept working and trying to find the language that I wanted to say on my album. Just going in the lab every night. It's sounding good, like a sonic painting. And it gets better and better every week."

Moderator Big Boy hat offenbar schon große Teil von Swish gehört und betonte, es nicht abwarten zu können, bis die Fans das Album zu Ohren bekommen. Wir können auch kaum warten!
